sendmail: fatal: queue file write error

sendmail died with following messages:

$ /usr/sbin/sendmail -t < /tmp/myfile
postdrop: warning: uid=123: Illegal seek
sendmail: fatal: userA(123): queue file write error

file size is about 10M. It looks some sendmail default configuration set maximum message size.

this guess is right. see details in “Postfix send error: queue file write error (http://log.amitshah.net/2007/01/postfix-send-error-queue-file-write.html)”.

Steps to work:
1) login by root
2) vi /etc/postfix/main.cf
add 1 line:
message_size_limit = 20971520
/* it is 20M in my case */
3) reload postfix
/usr/sbin/postfix reload

All done!
