Solution: bash: /usr/local/bin/rsync: Argument list too long

This issue came from Linux limitation of command argument memory maximum size with parameters MAX_ARG_PAGES and ARG_MAX. And the solution is straightforward: don’t use <directory>/*, use <directory> instead.

Note: if this error message from command ls, cp, etc. You can workaround them with the same trick OR run command find as workaround.
